After meeting Nicole and Chad about a year ago, it didn’t take long to see all the wonderful ways this couple fits together and the awesome characteristics they both have that attracts them to one another and makes them stand out in the crowd. Being tall and beautiful people definitely makes them stand out, but it is their sense of humor, kindness, and attitude that made me want to say “pick me, pick me” when they were interviewing me for wedding photography services. Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge Wedding
Nicole and Chad were married on June 5th in the Catoctin Mountain region of Maryland. It was a beautiful drive to their venue, and as I pulled up to their gorgeous wedding location, I could feel my heart flutter with excitement for the day ahead. When I arrived, I found Nicole chilling out in the make up chair. Her bridesmaids were also in the bridal suite and super quick to help me locate all the great bridal details and lend a helping hand. After the girls were ready, Nicole met Chad for their first look followed by photos with their friends. When it came time for the ceremony, Nicole made her grand entrance down the garden staircase. No easy task when your ankles are swimming in crinoline fabric. After sharing a few big laughs and loving vows Chad and Nicole were married. One of my favorite wedding details was the couple’s signature wedding drink. It was the “something blue burgerita”, a play on the newlyweds last name Burger. A little burger gummy on a toothpick was placed in each blue margarita drink. Such a great wedding day personalization! The Burger’s had a hot dance party that included a rap from a guest. It was such a beautiful day, fun night, and all around awesome wedding with an amazing couple. Congrats Nicole and Chad!
