Today I am very excited to share a post about how an incredible vision can be brought to life when you have a top notch team of wedding vendors. I was invited to participate in a wedding show at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and to collaborate with a wonderful team of vendors to create and capture the transformation of the Tavern Ballroom. The Westchester Wedding Planner recently featured our styled photoshoot in their journal, and I am happy to now share that feature and some of my favorite photos from this styled wedding inspiration session.
Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
Wedding stylist and event planner Elle Ellinghaus Designs had a fresh, never seen before vision for the Coastal Tavern Room at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Departing from the rustic coastal trend often shown in this room, she embraced a style that was feminine and luxurious.
Her vision included lavish drapery and cascading floral creations that stopped everyone in their steps when entering the room. Instead of a regular head table, she used a row of cafe tables with a variety of complementary linens to tie it together as one piece. Maria chairs bookmarked the ends of the elaborate head table.
Shades of trending pinks, creams, whites, and golds were used in the reception room and the cocktail room. Roses floated down from the ceiling, and antique tea cups welcomed guests at their seats. Haute vintage furnishings were placed throughout the dining and cocktail rooms. A root beer float bar satisfied guests’ sweet tooth and floating pink cocktails got the party started!
