Governor Calvert House Annapolis Wedding

Christine and Keith were married on April 16th at one of the most beautiful churches on the east coast, St. Mary’s church in Annapolis. Waiting for the ceremony to start can feel like an eternity when you are the one walking down the aisle. So to help pass the time and settle the pre-ceremony nerves, Christine’s parents told silly stories from their wedding day. When the time came for Christine and Keith to say “I do”, the couple was all smiles. The ceremony was beautiful and filled with tender moments of laughter. More about their wedding story following the photos. Enjoy!

After the ceremony we made our way to the Charles Carroll Garden and then downtown Annapolis for photos. The reception was held at the Governor Calvert House, one of my favorite wedding locations in Annapolis. My Flower Box  did an incredible job with the reception decor and centerpieces. I could have spent the entire night photographing these delightful details! After dinner and toasts, the dance floor opened with parent dances. It didn’t take long for the party to kick into full gear. Guests created a conga line that circled the entire room. Family and friends were also eager to jump in line for the apron dance and filled the floor during the anniversary dance. The longest married couple at the wedding was married over 50 years! Christine and Keith had a wonderful crew of friends from Franklin & Marshall, St. Mary’s, and Salisbury University. Everyone packed the room with their good vibes and I hope Christine and Keith carry with them always the wonderful memories and feelings from their wedding day!
