Katie and Chris were married in August of 2013 at Herrington on the Bay. Their wedding color was blue, which turned out to be a predictor of things to come, because three years later they welcomed home and celebrated their first born son! The Kaminsky family grew by one more baby boy in 2018. I’ve felt so honored to capture Katie and Chris from the time when the were engaged and it was just them and their sweet puppy Ellie, through the most recent session of their youngest celebrating his first birthday. The adventures ahead that wait these boys and this family I’m sure will be filled with silly moments and impromptu dance parties. “Party like a Kaminsky” is not just a family slogan, it’s a way of life for this rad bunch. 

I start feeling nostalgic when I look at Chris and Renee’s photos. I think back to their engagement session in May of 2015 and how much I loved photographing them inside the grove of trees along Key Hwy. The trees have been removed now which is simple but permanent reminder as to why each of these moments in our lives are important and special to capture. In September 2015, Renee and Chris celebrated their wedding day at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. A fitting place for this Baltimore couple who lives just a few blocks down the road. A few years later in the summer of 2018 they welcomed their son Tristan into the Family. This little guy might have set a record for longest sleeping baby during a newborn session. I recently met up with this awesome family once again for photos with their adorable little guy and can’t wait to see what’s next for their family!
