Ryan and Corinne celebrated their wedding on a beautiful August day in Baltimore, Maryland. We spent the day in the Mt. Vernon area of the city with wedding prep at hotel Indigo, the ceremony at St Ignatius church, and their reception at one of the greatest venues in Baltimore, The George Peabody Library. More about their wedding following the photos.
George Peabody Library Wedding
I met Corinne and Ryan last December in Washington D.C. and had been looking forward to seeing them again since! Corinne is gifted with exceptional planning skills, and seeing her vision come together from engagement to the wedding day was really impressive. I’m pretty sure the orange dress she wore for the engagement session was an exact match to her wedding day palette. Such a small detail but one that attests to her ability to visualize and plan ahead. I arrived at the Hotel Indigo and bounced between Corinne and Ryan’s room which was a fun start to the day for me. Corinne and Ryan both wrote love letters to each other. Corinne read Ryan’s letter out loud, and it didn’t take long before the happy tears started flowing. After the girls got Corinne into her dress it was off to the Church. The church was filled with soft warm light that poured through the stained glass windows. A perfectly romantic setting to say “I do”. After the ceremony guests greeted the newlyweds with bubbles and lots of hugs. The weather was perfect for outdoor photos, but I don’t think any location around the area can top the view you get inside the Peabody library stacks. The reception was a blast and guests didn’t waste a second hitting the dance floor. Thank you Corinne and Ryan for asking me to be your wedding day photographer!
