Autumn Sessions, Maryland- It has been a very productive and exciting few weeks of engagement and family photo sessions. I’ve been enjoying my time getting to know many of my wedding clients a little more, and also seeing some old clients and meeting new babies! Seeing so many different areas of Maryland during the autumn season has been invigorating and inspiring. Even though I have been keeping extra busy with the “fall rush”, I haven’t felt overwhelmed, which I know has a lot to do with having awesome clients who are so willing to go along for a creative joy ride. Here’s a little sneak peak into a handful of sessions that to me are the epitome of autumn colors and spirit. Enjoy!
Kelly and Brian along with their super cute Yorkie met me at Oregon Ridge for fall photos along the trails and in the cotton field. While most of the trees where still green along the trails, the Maple trees where dropping beautiful yellow, orange, and red leaves. I really enjoyed photographing their session and am excited for their beautiful Evergreen Museum wedding!
Michelle and Justin also included their four legged family member in their engagement session. Thor, the Dachshund played leader of the pack from one end of Fells Point to the other. Michelle rocked an adorable green skirt with leggings and Justin had a nice blue sweater for the fall temperatures. The air was crisp on the waterfront and the smell of fall was in the atmosphere. One year from now we will be doing it all over again for their wedding day!
Nicole and Chad picked Savage Mill Maryland for their Engagement-Family Session. We had a very playful light hearted session which was in contrast to the dreary dark storm rolling in on us. We managed to squeeze in every last minute of light at sunset and squeaked in a great session before the storm.
The Knight Family came out for their second family session with me, but this time with one additional family member with the cutest dimples! It’s always fun finding great photo locations close to home, It goes to show, great clients and great light makes for awesome photos.
Andrea and Luke pick Federal Hill at sunset for their session. Andrea and Luke maybe Baltimore transplants, but they know how to enjoy the city life and I love that they chose a location that is sentimental to them. They fit so well together and I’m excited to see them again in 2015 for their wedding!
Rebecca and Simeon are also Baltimore transplants coming from Boston to Baltimore to pursue greatness at Johns Hopkins. We started our session in Mount Vernon, then headed to the East side for photos at Hopkins and then to the waterfront in Fells Point. I had a blast exploring the city with them.
Kristen and Ralph met me at Historic London Town and Gardens for their engagement session. They were game for everything from climbing on rocks, playing in leaves, to showing off their signature move, “the dip”. I had so much fun with them chasing the light and shadows and can’t wait to do it again on their wedding day!
Jen and Jason where also super adventurous and didn’t blink at the idea of climbing a waterfall and then posing for photos in the water. What can I say, I’ve got the greatest clients!
