Next to Tara and Jordan’s cake was a wood plank that read, “Sitting next to you doing absolutely nothing means absolutely everything to me.” This little sign is a big reminder of what it is like when two people are deeply in love. It’s not the “what” or “where” but rather the “who” and “why” that makes a wedding special. Their wedding marked one of the most eventful and exciting days in their lives together. Their venue was stunning, the dress was gorgeous, the details were perfectly in place. But none of this was as important as the reason for this wedding, which is the commitment to be everything to each other, even in times when there is nothing.  My wish for Tara and Jordan is that no matter how busy life gets, they always find time to do nothing together so they can enjoy the simple pleasure of just being together.
