Hotel Monaco and Belvedere Wedding

On the first Saturday of April, Matt and Basak celebrated not just a wedding but a vow renewal. They previously had a low key court house ceremony, but wanted to share and celebrate their commitment with family and friends when the timing was a little better for them. They couldn’t have picked a better place in Baltimore to celebrate. I also like the timing of their vow renewal in relation to spring. It is the time of year when everything comes back from the winter cold in a renewal of life. In comparison, Matt and Basak came out of a very busy time in their lives to renew their love. The couple started their wedding day at the Hotel Monaco. After final wedding prep touches, Matt and Basak had their “first look” on the staircase at the Monaco. After a few photos, the couple and their party made their way to the Belvedere by way of Uber rides. Gotta love the tech savvy city dwelling couples! Matt and Basak exchanged vows once again, but this time with their loved ones there to witness. Cocktail hour was hosted on the 13th floor where guests enjoyed the bird’s eye viewed of Baltimore and delicious hors d’oeuvres by Truffles catering. The 12th floor reception ballroom was completely decked out with gorgeous centerpieces created by Wicked Willow floral design. The enjoyment of the guests clearly was of importance to the couple. For example, Matt and Basak provided great music djayed by John Paul Berry, a photo booth with prints through Pixilated , special goodie bags with treats for the kids, and a basket full of flip flops for the ladies.
