Maryland Farm Wedding- “2 countries + 2 hearts = 1 journey of a lifetime”. These words which were printed on Jen and Rumi’s save the date sum up the adventure of their love story. Jen traveled from America to Peru to study at the College of the Holy Cross. I think that when we travel we often focus on how our trip is going to be life changing for us. But Rumi’s life changed forever (along with Jen’s) when Jen landed in his country and together they started their journey of a lifetime. Rumi traveled to America to be with Jen and it was in Maryland at St Ignatius Church they made their vows and promise to love each other for a lifetime. They celebrated their marriage at The Barn at Springfield Farm in Williamsport Maryland on a beautiful April evening. I absolutely love that Jen wore her mother’s veil which was remade by Maria Gouveia to fit Jen. Blossom and Basket did a beautiful job creating the wedding day flowers which included pops of purple, yellow, and green. Jen spent a great deal of time and energy putting together all the details. From picking the perfect hand crafted Esty accessories to making sure their loved ones traveling to Maryland could be in attendance. Everything came together in perfect fashion! I am so grateful to have been part of such a beautiful wedding and to have been able to photograph such a beautiful and wholesome couple. Congratulations-Felicitaciones, to Jen and Rumi on their journey of a lifetime!
