“I am having the best time!” Those are the words I heard said over and over again, all night long at Nurit and Drew’s wedding. I couldn’t agree more. I too was having the best time at their wedding! You can’t help but smile when you’re around Nurit and Drew. They are genuinely kind, caring, and loving people. From the moment I stepped into the room, I felt welcomed and appreciated. This great vibe and a room full of beautiful people absolutely added to my excitement about photographing their wedding day. At last Nurit and Drew’s fourth of July wedding weekend was here!! More about their wedding following the photos.
Pier V and M&T Stadium Wedding
Nurit and Drew’s wedding day was PACKED with exciting moments. After a very busy morning of wedding prep, Nurit and Drew met on the Baltimore Harbor waterfront for their first look. The bridesmaids cheered them on in the background while tourists looked on from the lighthouse. After a few photos we headed to M&T Bank Stadium for photos. I have been waiting eleven years to photograph a bride and groom on the field at Ravens stadium and at last, the perfect couple invited me to capture these special photos for them! We did have one little hiccup…The sprinklers were to start at 3:15 and it was 3:14 when everyone was on the field. The wedding party hustled to the center, lined up for a few photos, and 60 seconds later the sprinklers fired up at the edge of the field. We didn’t know if the rest of the sprinklers were about to shoot up, so we booked for the opposite side of the field where we stayed dry and captured some really fun photos. After photos at the stadium, we went back to Pier 5 for the Ketubah signing and ceremony. As the Ketubah signing ceremony finished, we once again had concerns of getting soaked, but this time from a passing storm. Thankfully it stopped raining and the couple was married on the waterfront under a beautiful huppah. After dinner was served, Nurit’s father played an incredible clarinet/ guitar duet that ended with a happy birthday melody to celebrate Nurit’s mom’s birthday. Nurit and Drew met while attending University of Maryland College Park. So, it was time to party like a Terp when the school mascot Testudo walked through the doors after dinner. Glow sticks were passed out to guests to ramp up the party another notch. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more exciting, Nurit lifted her way into a cheer stand. Their wedding was truly the best time!! A special shout out and thanks to Brea for rocking the second photographer perspective. She captured many incredible shots including the close up ring exchange…I’m obsessed with that photo. Also a special thank you to Stephanie, Rachel, and the Bradshaw team for making the flow of the day flawless. Congrats Nurit and Drew!
