Ashlie and Ryan were married on August 13th at the Golf Club at South River. Temperatures were in the triple digits that Saturday. It was no easy task hanging around outside for photos, but Ashlie and Ryan remained positive and patient. There is more about their joyful sunny summer wedding after the photos!

The Golf Club at South River

Ashlie and Ryan started their day off with a first look and a few happy tears. From there we rolled right into portraits. A few minutes into photos, a golf cart came speeding at us. We were all thinking, what the ___! Turns out it was a grounds keeper just having a little fun and bringing a special delivery- ice cold towels for US!  One of my favorite candids from the day is of Ashlie and Ryan cooling off with these towels. The family and wedding party came prepared with handheld fans. So when Ashlie and Ryan returned into the club house, the groomsmen went to town fanning down Ryan, wiping down his brow, and removing his jacket. We were all cracking up at this playful pampering of the groom : ) The wedding ceremony took place under the shade of the pavilion, followed by the reception in the club. I really loved all the nature light and balcony overlook in this space! Guests enjoyed a night of dancing, cupcakes, and a rockin’ photo booth. What a great party! Congrats Ashlie and Ryan, I had a blast photographing your special day!
