Waterfront weddings are the epitome of a summer celebration and good times with great friends! Kelsey and Chris were married in Chesapeake City at Pell Gardens on a beautiful day one year ago today. More about their wedding following the photos.
Chesapeake City Wedding
Chesapeake City is a cute little town about an hour from Baltimore. This location feels like a destination wedding without the hassle of traveling very far. Chris and his groomsmen prepared for the wedding at a charming little B&B in town called the Ship Watch Inn. Kelsey and her bridesmaids enjoyed the wedding morning at a beautiful home on the waterfront right outside of town. The location was perfect for a weekend getaway. Under beautiful blue skies, Kelsey and Chris exchanged rings and vows. After the ceremony the wedding party celebrated with a round of shots in the gazebo. We strolled around town, taking photos in front of the quaint shops and along the waterfront. Our walk eventually ended at the venue where guests were enjoying cocktails overlooking the water. Their celebration kicked off at the Chesapeake Inn with wedding party introductions followed by the Bride and Groom’s first dance. I absolutely loved the way Kelsey’s dress twirled on the dance floor! One of my favorite details from their wedding day was the sailboat table numbers, complimented by the sailboat escort cards. Once the dance floor opened, the party did not stop all night! The energy was awesome all day and night long. Happy one year wedding anniversary Kelsey and Chris! I hope you are spending the day reminiscing and celebrating a year together as husband and wife.
