Grand Historic Venue- Even though Jessica and Colley live in Florida, Baltimore holds a special place in their hearts. Jess and Colley are a stylish and sexy couple, so when it came to picking out a venue that was expressive of their taste, it was fitting for them to choose the Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore. It is posh, elegant, and is a grand specimen of French and Italian architecture. I had a blast photographing their Canton and Fells Point engagement session and was all the more excited for their wedding day. Growing up I thought Jess was one of the prettiest girls in our high school.  So when Jess and Colley booked me for their wedding I thought how freaking awesome it was going to be photographing such a gorgeous couple! I also knew I was going to be working with two of the kindest people and that their wedding day was going to be a tearjerker. What I didn’t know is that Colley had plans to take not only Jess in marriage but to also promise his loyalty for a lifetime to Jess’s daughter Jayla. During the ceremony, Colley called Jayla over to the front of the aisle. He pulled out a ring and on one knee, pledged his fatherly love to her. Of all the photos I took that day, these were my favorite because they expressed the greatest beauty of all, the love within. Congrats Jess, Colley, and Jayla on your new life together as a family!!
