Havre de Grace and Maryland Horse Farm Engagement
Today’s feature is a “Throw Back Thursday” post of Holly and Till’s Engagement session. Their wedding is a couple months away and I am pretty geeked about what they have in store for their big day. But before the wedding season hits full swing, I want to share their engagement session from 2014. First off, I love country drives so heading out to the farm where Holly was boarding her horses was like a relaxation session. Second, farms are one of my favorites spots because you are sure to find some sort of rusty car, truck, or farm machinery brimming with character. Third, add two seriously rad clients and a horse and we have arrived at the ultimate photo trifecta. We kicked around the farm for a bit and soaked up the sunlight. Then took Holly’s horse Argo for a stroll, ventured into the shade of the evergreen trees, and of course toyed around with a rusted-out pick up truck. It was everything I hoped a photo trifecta could be. We also wanted to catch sunset along the waterfront, so we headed over to Havre de Grace for the second part of their session. We captured great waterfront shots before nightfall and even continued into the dark for some sweet dramatic shots. I love the last shot on this post of Holly twirling. I’m a sucker for dresses that looks great when in movement, and I’m pretty sure I would spin myself sick if I had her dress. Thanks Till and Holly for all the effort you put into your session. You pulled out all the stops and it really paid off as a fantastic session. Can’t wait for your big day!
